UPLB Records Management Office Hosts the Benchmarking Visit from UP Baguio

On May 15, 2025, the Records Management Office of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB-RMO), under the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Administration, welcomed representatives from the University of the Philippines Baguio (UP Baguio) for a benchmarking activity aimed at strengthening records management practices across the UP constituent universities.

During the visit, the UP Baguio team engaged in a productive exchange of ideas with RMO staff, focusing on key areas such as:

  • Records classification
  • Archiving systems
  • Digitization efforts
  • Implementation of best practices aligned with UP System-wide policies

The benchmarking activity also included a tour of the office’s facilities and a discussion on the challenges and innovations in records handling and information governance.

This collaborative initiative reflects the shared commitment of both offices to uphold transparency, efficiency, and accountability in public service.
