The the Records Management Office of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB-RMO), under the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Administration, successfully held its Strategic Planning Workshop from March 20 to 22, 2025, in the peaceful and inspiring setting of Marinduque. The three-day workshop aimed to assess the Office’s current performance, revisit its goals and mandates, and develop strategic initiatives that align with the broader objectives of the University.
Participants engaged in a series of discussions and workshops focused on identifying priority areas for improvement, streamlining records-related processes, and enhancing overall service delivery. The event also served as a platform to reinforce the importance of a responsive and future-ready records management system, especially in the context of digital transformation and compliance with regulatory standards.
Through collaborative sessions, the team was able to craft actionable plans and strategies that will serve as the foundation for the Office’s operations in the coming years. The peaceful environment of Marinduque provided the ideal backdrop for focused work and team building, fostering a renewed sense of purpose and unity among RMO personnel.
